The North Bay Symphony Orchestra (NBSO) is launching its 2025-2026 performance season with on Saturday, October 18, at the Capitol Centre.

Speaking of the opening show’s theme, Joshua Wood, the NBSO’s Music and Artistic Director, said, “We thought that it was kind of a relevant idea to feature music representing people’s homeland. Lots of composers have written some very powerful music that has a special meaning to the people of their country. So, we wanted to feature some of that music on this performance.”

“Because more than anything, it’s about the music,” Wood emphasized.
