EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — More "No Kings" protests are planned around the country this Saturday, including here in Evansville.
"On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people," the No Kings website, nokings.org , says.
According to the website, an "invitation to action lecture" will take place at EVPL McCollough from 10:30 a.m. to noon, while the No Kings protest is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the county administration building.
"The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us," the event page says.
