GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — Over 400 jobs could be on their way to Glasgow, according to state records.
The Glasgow City Council is set to decide Monday night whether to approve tax incentives aimed at attracting new jobs to the area.
The proposal would allow Union Coating & Chemical Industries and Tate Access Floors Inc. to receive rebates on a portion of the city’s occupational tax—essentially a partial refund on payroll taxes—as an incentive for job creation.
