Ann Arbor council member’s union ties raise conflict of interest questions after $560K vote

ANN ARBOR, MI — An Ann Arbor City Council member is under scrutiny for voting to approve grant funds benefitting a labor union for which she does paid consulting work.

But the city attorney’s office maintains there’s nothing improper about it.
