MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man is in custody following a homicide in the Highland Heights area Thursday evening.

Police say 33-year-old Cardarius Polk was found dead from gunshot injuries on Lester Street, located just north of Summer Avenue., just before 6 p.m.

A warrant was issued for Algenon Lloyd last week. He was latter taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder.
