Yakov Binshtok, lovingly known as Yanchik, passed away peacefully Oct. 12, 2025, at the age of 70.

Born on Feb. 21, 1955, in Odessa, Ukraine, to Micheal Binshtok and Dina Saksonskaya, Yan lived a life full of warmth, resiliencevand dedication.

A skilled mechanical engineer and devoted contractor, Yan was known for his passion for building and creating. He found joy in working around his home and capturing life’s moments with his camera. He deeply cherished nature, traveling, and spending time with both friends and family.

Yan is survived by his beloved wife, Polina Binshtok; his loving daughters, Marina (Matthew) Fletcher and Svetlana Binshtok (Jason Pryor); and his adored grandchildren, Allisen and Ellen Fletcher. He also leaves behind his dear brother, Zhenya (Lena) Binshtok, and many
