Inequality has been growing wider and wider, and only wealth taxes can fix it. A handful of monopolies are growing ever more powerful, and we need tougher regulation to curb them. And only a farsighted industrial policy directed by the government can strengthen the industrial base and make the transition to a carbon-neutral society.
