Showers are expected to taper off Monday night with cloudy skies lingering as Delaware County and region will soon bid adieu to the nuisance coastal storm.

A cloudy Tuesday is expected at the start, though, but with longer glimpses of sunshine possible as the day wears on, according to AccuWeather. Then complete clearing is forecast for Tuesday night as cold air filters into the region.

Expect five, six and maybe seven days of sunshine then with highs mostly in the 60s, though nudging up to 70 a time or two in the mix, according to AccuWeather.

Rainfall totals from the coastal storm were mostly modest through Monday evening, with the official total at Philadelphia International Airport barely getting to half-inch for the entire multiday episode.
