A virtual unknown when he was selected 16th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, Hansen dazzled during Summer League with his passing and court vision. He stumbled in his first preseason outing against the Golden State Warriors but rebounded big time versus the Sacramento Kings, putting up 16 points on 5-8 shooting with 4 rebounds and 3 blocks in 17 minutes of play.
