The New England Patriots picked up their third straight win in Week 6 when they took down the New Orleans Saints by a score of 25-19. It was back to work on Monday, though, and that led the team to make an interesting move involving one of the players from their 2024 draft class.
That player would be guard Layden Robinson, who was selected in the fourth round of the draft last year. As a rookie, Robinson played in 13 games, 11 of which were starts, but he was on the outside looking in when it came to the team’s offensive line construction for much of training camp.
After he was initially released by the team as part of their final roster cuts, Robinson instead got placed on injured reserve, which appeared to end his season. However, he ended up getting waived from injured reserve ,
