CANDLER COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) — Officials responded to a vehicle fire on Stillmore Highway near Falcon Lane in Candler County Monday.

A photo shared by the Candler County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) showed a white car on the side of the road, partially covered in flames and black smoke coming from the fire. Metter Fire-Rescue and CCSO deputies are on scene and crews are working to extinguish the fire, a spokesperson said.

Officials asked that you avoid the area and use caution if driving nearby.
