1 related to Peoria Unified, 2 related to West-MEC

It may be an off-year election, but there are still some important ballot items that will affect Peoria residents for this year’s general election, Nov. 4.

Three major ballot items will include a 15% maintenance and operations override for the Peoria Unified School District, as well as two propositions from Western Maricopa Education Center, more commonly known as West-MEC, a public school district that offers career and technical education programs to high school students and adult learners.

This is an all-mail election, however there is no ballot drop-off box at Peoria city hall for this election.
