SHREVEPORT, LA — The Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce has announced the 5th Anniversary of Black Restaurant Week, scheduled for Oct. 19–26, 2025. This milestone celebration honors five years of highlighting the creativity, flavor, and cultural impact of Black-owned restaurants, chefs, and food entrepreneurs across the Shreveport-Bossier region.
This year’s event will feature more than 25 participating restaurants and bars, offering locals and visitors a chance to explore diverse menus, exclusive specials, and culinary experiences that celebrate the best of Black-owned dining in Northwest Louisiana.
The week kicks off with the Black Restaurant Week Launch Event on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 5–9 p.m. at Vine Books & Vinyl, 620 Texas St.
