Three of the seven students charged with gross misdemeanors in the Reno High School vandalism case pleaded guilty Oct. 13 in exchange for avoiding a jury trial. The remaining four are expected to also change their pleas to guilty.
All seven originally pleaded not guilty on charges of vandalizing the high school during a senior prank that got out of control on May 22.
The deals include 100 to 300 hours of community service, probation for a year, $400 to $1,000 in fines and to make restitution for the damage to the school. The seven students will decide among themselves their share of the $6,943.97 in damages.
The school district said damages included graffiti on school walls and floors, a broken TV, speakers, trophy cases and windows.
Four of the teens who had more than one count of van
