Owen Corrigan hasn’t had much trouble finding the back of the net for the Caribou Vikings this season.

The senior soccer star has already broken his Aroostook County school’s single season goal-scoring record with a couple of games left to play.

The overpowering striker notched seven goals in Monday’s 13-1 win over Old Town and stretched his season tally to 42, according to his coach.

“Owen’s had a great season. He’s putting a lot of goals in for us,” said Caribou head coach Evan Richards. “We have a lot of great players, and they all work well together. And Owen’s been having a fantastic year.”
