WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WWLP) - Travelers at Bradley International Airport experienced minimal delays on Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples' Day, despite concerns over a nor'easter and the ongoing U.S. government shutdown.

The airport, which was expected to be busy due to the holiday, remained relatively quiet. The nor'easter, a coastal storm affecting the Northeast, did not significantly disrupt travel plans, and the government shutdown, now in its 13th day, did not appear to impact airport operations.

"I expected a delay, but it was only about 15 minutes," said Alex Maningas, a traveler heading to Dallas. "I thought it would be backed up, but looking at the line, it's not bad at all."
