SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS ) – A man was arrested Sunday evening after a dangerous attempt to evade that police say put both officers and the public at risk.

At approximately 8 p.m. on October 12, 2025, officers with the Shreveport police department attempted a traffic stop on a car driven by 27-year-old Marvaeya Anderson. Instead of stopping, Anderson fled.

Ramming a police vehicle during the pursuit, he later hopped out of his car and fled on foot, barricading himself inside an abandoned building on Pro Street.
