Amazon is set to hire 250,000 full-time, part-time and seasonal workers across its fulfillment and transportation network in the United States.
This move comes as many retailers have slowed down on seasonal hiring due to ongoing struggles with tariffs and inflation.
Amazon stated that regular full-time and part-time employees earn an average of $23 per hour, while seasonal workers will earn close to $19 per hour.
This hiring initiative highlights Amazon’s commitment to expanding its workforce despite broader economic challenges impacting other retailers.
