ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) — The periods of light rain and misty drizzle will continue through the overnight here in the Twin Tiers to wrap up Indigenous People’ Day. This rain is courtesy of the Nor’easter that has made a mess of things along most of the eastern seaboard over the last two days.
The storm brought showers from east to west into the Twin Tiers and will start to taper off overnight, reducing the rain coverage. Once the storm moves out to sea in our overnight hours, we will start to see gradual clearing and mostly cloudy skies with a few late-day sunbreaks for the rest of the day on Tuesday. Tuesday night stays in the mid-40s.
