The Portland Winterhawks win a Canadian Thanksgiving matinee over the Calgary Hitmen 3-2, with their top line turning the game around in the second half.

Ryan Miller, named captain Monday morning, along with Alex Weiermair and Jake Gustafson, created the last two goals, with Gustafson getting the game-winner with 5:32 left.

It was a much-improved game for the Winterhawks after a 5-0 loss in Medicine Hat on Saturday.

Portland now goes to 2-1 on their trip to Alberta, with 2 games remaining.
