The sister-in-law of former presidential nominee and Utah senator Mitt Romney was found dead on a street in a Los Angeles suburb Friday evening, according to officials and reports.

Carrie Elizabeth Romney was discovered dead on a street near a shopping mall parking garage in Valencia, Calif. at around 8:30 p.m., TMZ reported.

She was 64 years old. Her death is being investigated, but her body is ready for release, according to records from the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
