WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) - A DeFuniak Springs man was arrested Thursday for allegedly trafficking more than 200 grams of drugs.
According to a news release, officials with the Walton County Sheriff's Office said 45-year-old Bobby Womack was detained at a local Red Roof Inn during an ongoing investigation into the narcotics trafficking activity in the area.
Deputies reported that cocaine and a trafficked amount of methamphetamine were found on Womack while he was being detained.
Womack was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail.
Deputies said after a search warrant was executed inside Womack's hotel room, they found a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, buprenorphine (Suboxone) pills and a stolen handgun.
