A man accused of fatally shooting 26-year-old Kenyatta Henry last week in Steelton has been arrested, police announced Monday.

Police say Quadir Rameau, 23, of Steelton, killed Henry, of Steelton, on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Phoenix Mini Mart at 37 S. Fourth Street. Henry’s brother was also shot and wounded.

The store owner told PennLive she saw three men inside her store minutes before the shooting, then heard gunshots after they exited.

Rameau, remained at large for almost a week until he surrendered himself to police in Allentown, according to a Monday afternoon press release from Steelton police.

Rameau was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possessing a firearm while prohibited, and carrying a firearm without a license, all felonies.
