FORT WORTH, Texas — Fire from Sunday’s plane crash scorched several work trucks, trailers, and nearby trees along North Saginaw Boulevard — near Hicks Airfield in northwest Fort Worth.

Video and images captured the heartbreaking aftermath of the small aircraft crash that killed two people on board .

Authorities say the plane went down after striking several parked semis, setting them on fire and sending thick black smoke billowing into the air. Prompting sheriff’s deputies to quickly block the road with cones as fire crews worked to control the burning debris.

Witnesses told WFAA they could see the flames and smoke from miles away. Theresa Brown, who was in the area at the time, described what she saw and heard.
