RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The pictures taken the day after May 22, 2025, shocked the community, not to mention teachers, students, and parents affiliated with Reno High.

Broken class, spray paint, and burning tires, it all happened in less than an hour the night of May 22, 2025.

In the end, 7 defendants would be tried as adults in Washoe District Court.

After two to three appearances this summer, all of the accused and their attorneys were in court together.

Three of them were ready to plead guilty for their part in the vandalism.

Devyn Maaka, Wylder May and Owen Shuff each pled guilty to gross misdemeanors of “damage of property used for educational purposes”.

This is a result of negotiations with the district attorney’s office defense attorneys and their clients testified.
