The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is hosting an online open house to get feedback from residents about bicycle and pedestrian improvements planned for Pacific Highway South (State Route 99) in Kent on the West Hill between South 272nd Street and Kent Des Moines Road (SR 516).
The project will include repaving the highway and upgrading Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk curb ramps to meet current accessibility standards.
The multilingual online open house and survey goes through Tuesday, Nov. 4, to collect community input about current travel experiences, accessibility needs along this corridor, and proposed designs for sidewalks, bike lanes and other features.
