Chicago police were searching for the suspect in a home invasion, attempted criminal sexual assault and attempted burglaries in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood.

A total of three incidents were reported between 2 and 3 a.m. Friday morning in the 2000 block of West Lunt Avenue near North Damen Avenue. Police said, in one incident, a nearly naked suspect pried open the basement window of a victim's home and attacked her in the bathroom.

The victim managed to fight off the suspect, police stated.

Approximately an hour earlier, a person matching the suspect's description was involved in an attempted sexual assault one mile north in Evanston. Following the home invasion, multiple attempted burglaries were reported on the same block.
