SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday afternoon turned out pretty nice with a mainly sunny sky and warm temperatures.
This was a huge change from the weekend that featured an overcast sky, periods of rain, and cool temperatures. More sunny and warm weather is in the forecast for the next several afternoons.
As the system that brought us the gloomy weekend continues to move northward, high pressure will build in over the southeast.
The sunny sky and dry air will help temperatures to warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s for Tuesday through Thursday. Conditions will feel comfortable because of low humidity.
A cooler airmass will settle in for Friday and Saturday. Our afternoon highs will remain in the upper 70s to lower 80s, however the mornings lows will be noticeably cooler.
