MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office arrested two people and apprehended another two in connection with a theft by taking auto investigation, according to a release.

The release said a 22-year-old, a 32-year-old, an 18-year-old and a 25-year-old were all apprehended after a chase.

According to the release, investigators saw a Nissan Sentra at the Checker on Mercer University Drive that was reported missing on Friday. After a chase, the sheriff's office said they stopped the vehicle on Anthony Road.

The release said that a woman left and ran from the vehicle on Bailey Avenue, but was caught. The release added that another passenger ran from the vehicle on Anthony Road, but was also caught. The driver and another woman were arrested in the car.
