US President Donald Trump on Monday took attendees by surprise at the Gaza peace summit in Egypt by inviting Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to speak before the gathering. The Republican leader paused his speech momentarily and asked Sharif, “Do you want to say something’. He further pressed him to “say what you said to me the other day”.
Islamabad tapped Trump for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize next year. “Again, I would like to nominate this great president for the Nobel Peace Prize, because I genuinely feel he is the most genuine and most wonderful candidate for the peace prize because he has brought not only peace in South Asia but saved millions of people, their lives and today, achieving peace in Gaza [and] saving, millions of lives in the Middle East,” Shehbaz Sharif sai
