The City of Nedlands wants to make sure it and the State Government are on the same page for planning for a key area.
The city is currently reviewing its local planning scheme, while at the same time the State Government is working on a University of Western Australia-Queen Elizabeth II improvement plan through the WA Planning Commission.
Nedlands staff said in a report to the city’s October 1 meeting they did not support the improvement plan as it related to the city.
About 67ha of the city is covered by both schemes, including parts of Broadway and Monash Avenue and Verdun Street.
