ORANGE CITY, IA (KTIV) - Construction is underway at Orange City’s Windmill Park, with crews adding new features to the area.

A lot of the concrete pavement in the park is already complete.

Tulips are expected to be planted for next year’s Orange City Tulip Festival, and city officials say a structure was purchased and manufactured which will be set in the coming weeks.

“The progress has really come together over the last couple months and we anticipate it really changing more in the next couple weeks and being a great asset to our downtown park,“ said Matt Van Schouwen, Orange City city administrator.

The renovations to the park are expected to be completed by December of this year.
