SARTELL — Pequot Lakes’ Claire Oseland didn’t drop a game as she advanced to the Section 7-1A Individual singles semifinals Monday, Oct. 13.

Oseland eliminated Pierz’s Addie Thielen and then Duluth Marshall’s Saanvi Naveen with matching 6-0, 6-0 scores. In the semifinals, she’ll face Class 1A’s seventh-ranked Brooke Boland of Pine City.

In the other singles semifinal, Class 1A’s sixth-ranked Tori Oehrlein of Crosby-Ironton will face Pine City’s Alana Linnell. Oehrlien dispatched Danika Fedora of Stella Maris Academy 6-0, 6-0 and Pierz’s Olivia Thielen 6-1, 6-1.

The doubles bracket semifinals also will feature two area teams as Pequot’s Nikki Crocker and Emme Sullivan will face Pine City’s Vivian Lahti-Kate Unverzagt and Pierz’s Clara Tax and Madelyn Kessler will face Mora’s Addy Axtell
