Smith, who served with REACH Air Medical Services, passed away over the weekend following the crash that also involved two colleagues. On Sunday, her final flight home to Red Bluff Airport was greeted by friends and supporters. Her husband, R.J. Smith, described her as a woman of deep faith, saying she used her nursing career to share hope and compassion. Her family believes her spirit is still soaring, leaving behind a legacy of service and love.
