CARTERVILLE — Balanced scoring was the theme Monday as the John A. Logan College volleyball team took three straight sets from visiting Shawnee College, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.

Freshman middle hitter Ava Luebbers of Breese led the charge with seven kills. Freshman outside hitter Piper Underwood (Cape Girardeau) followed with six and sophomore middle hitter Karli Mann (Herrin) added five.
