Elliot Rivera’s first-half goal gave Passaic Tech the edge in a 1-0 victory over Bergen Tech in Wayne that ended a three-game skid.

Rivera’s game-clincher was the second goal of his senior season, last scoring against Passaic on Sept. 11.

Passaic Tech goalie Jesus Montiel-Gonzalez totaled seven saves in a crucial shutout.

Christopher Motta provided the assist on Rivera’s goal.

Passaic Tech (6-9) hosts Northern Highland 7 p.m. Oct. 21. Bergen Tech (5-9) travels to Elmwood Park Oct. 15 with a start time to be announced.
