GRAND FORKS — UND leaned on its elite-shooting flankers to build one of the nation's best power plays last season.

The Fighting Hawks converted 26.4% of their chances, finishing No. 5 nationally.

But Cameron Berg (seven power-play goals), Jayden Perron (six) and Sacha Boisvert (five) are gone, as are 82.8% of UND's power-play goals. The assistant coach who was in charge of the power play, Karl Goehring, is now at St. Thomas.

This season, the Fighting Hawks have a similar power-play setup, but a different philosophy.
