SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -Springfield police are looking for several people involved in a gun fight Monday afternoon.

According to Springfield PD, officers arrived at the corner of Kearney Street and Franklin Avenue at around 2 p.m. Witnesses say a number of people in a parking lot started shooting at each other.

Springfield Police confirm that one juvenile is in custody related to this incident.

Investigators say they don’t know what led to the altercation.

At this time, police are not aware of any injuries related to the incident. Officers say that’s very lucky given the reckless actions of the shooters.
