Defense not 'letting us down' claims Cowboys coach

Such has been the level of play from the Dallas Cowboys ' defense through the first six weeks that there is a feeling that Dak Prescott and the offense have to be perfect for the team to win games.

That is due to the defense's inability to stop opposing offenses and the fact that they give up just over 30 points per game on average, so if Dak and Co. don't score touchdowns on every drive, Dallas suffers.

Had the defense gotten one stop against the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers , Dallas would have won both games, yet the defense couldn't, and the Cowboys sit at 2-3-1.
