A frail pensioner has been convicted of making the “death sign” from his window amid a long-running dispute with his next door neighbour.
Robert Kerr, 82, wept after he was found guilty of making a threatening gesture at his throat as well as shouting and swearing at Stephen Calveley, 73, when a bitter feud between them erupted in Biggar , South Lanarkshire.
His conviction comes after grandfather Kerr, who has lived in his home for almost six decades, was hit with an antisocial behaviour warning after being accused of singing Flower of Scotland while he washed his car in earshot of his English neighbour.
