SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Sioux City City Council members approved a grant contract with the Iowa Finance Authority.
The Finance Authority recently offered more than $100k to the city to help those who are homeless find ways to get back on their feet. The money would be used to help those who currently have a place to live, but are facing eviction.
Those with the organization Neighborhood Services had already gotten emergency rental assistance money from pandemic relief funding, but that money is no longer available.
