ANDALUSIA, Ill. (KWQC) - Rock Island County officials are investigating a man’s death after a body was found in a creek on Monday.

Deputies and EMS crews went to the area of Hills Creek and 2nd Avenue West in Andalusia around 4 p.m., for the report of a body in the creek, according to a media release.

Deputies said a 28-year-old man died at the scene.

The cause of death has not been determined and the name has not yet been released, officials said.

Deputies said there is no danger to the public at this time.
