PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Over 1,000 people gathered last weekend on Park City's historic Main Street to take a communal shot ski for charity, and they broke a world record in the process.

The ninth annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski event took place on Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m., and 1,410 people took a shot, raising over $70,000 for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club grant program.

The money raised by the event will benefit more than 44 community groups in Summit County. The annual event is organized by volunteers with the Rotary Club and by High West Distillery.
