MEXICO - Boone Health CEO, Brady Dubois, spent his Monday in Mexico, Missouri. He spoke with business owners, stakeholders and community members about the future of health care in rural Missouri.

KOMU previously reported that Boone Health signed a letter of intent in 2024 with the Audrain County Commission, Audrain County Health Department, and the City of Mexico to bring more emergency care to mid-Missouri.

Monday night Dubois presented the Mexico City Council Members with assurance that despite some road blocks he is moving forward with the project.

Dubois mentioned federal funding cuts and tariffs as variables that need to be worked through.
