On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” Deputy Chief of Mission for Israel’s Embassy in D.C. Eliav Benjamin stated that while Hamas was given 72 hours to release the remains of deceased hostages, “let’s also remember that 70 hours were also given a week ago. And the reality on the ground is much more complicated than it is on paper. We are holding them accountable.”
