NEW DELHI: India defeated West Indies by seven wickets in the second test in Delhi. The team led by Gill completed the chase of the 121 target set by the West Indies, with the loss of just three wickets. KL Rahul scored 58 runs off 108 balls, hitting two sixes and six fours. With this win, India won the two-match series 2-0. This is Shubman Gill’s first major trophy as a captain.
Sai Sudarshan, who scored 39 runs off 76 balls, was dismissed in the first session of the final day. Sudarshan was dismissed by West Indies captain Roston Chase. Captain Shubman Gill, who hit a six and a four, was dismissed for 13 runs. He was caught by Justin Greaves off Roston Chase. India reached the winning runs in 35 overs.
India, who were forced to follow on, were all out for 390 runs on the fourth day, an
