The Milwaukee Brewers started their NLCS on the wrong foot after dropping Game 1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The home-field advantage didn’t help much as the defending World Series champions proved to be a threat.
Despite making an incredible and rare double play, the Brew Crew was unable to drive in more than one run. The Dodgers won the game with a 2-1 final score, and they hold an advantage in this best-of-seven series.
The Brewers had a couple of opportunities to tie the game. Their biggest chance was when Brice Turang stepped up to the plate with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning. Turang had a great opportunity to force in the tying run. However, things went the other way around, leaving the Dodgers to secure a win.
