Silver Price today : Silver futures outshine gold today, surging nearly 5 per cent so far, driven by a historic short squeeze in London that forced traders to cover their positions, adding strong buying momentum to the rally. Additionally, the rise was further supported by supply constraints in the market. As of 10:22 AM, silver was up 4.6 per cent or Rs 7,086 to trade at Rs 1,61,731 per kg. The prices hit an all-time high of Rs 1,62,057 earlier in the session. In the international market, spot silver has hit an all-time high of USD 52.9 per ounce. It is up 1.1 per cent today and rose 6.3 per cent yesterday. The metal has gained 11.7 per cent month-to-date and an impressive 79 per cent year-to-date.
