HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) - Police say one person was killed and another was left with life-threatening injuries after a crash in Hillsboro on Monday evening.

According to Hillsboro Police, officers responded to a report of a singe car crash near NE Shute Rd and NE Dawson Creek Dr at around 6:43 p.m.

Investigators say one occupant died at the scene of the crash and another was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other details about the victims are available at this time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
