Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw once again raised concerns over Bengaluru’s poor infrastructure, taking to X on Monday to question the government’s commitment to making the city investor-friendly.

She pointed to the bad roads and garbage piling up across the city, asking why India still struggles to fix such basic civic issues “even when the winds are favourable.”

Her post read, \"I had an overseas business visitor to Biocon Park who said ‘ Why are the roads so bad and why is there so much garbage around? Doesn’t the Govt want to support investment?
